Principal’s Message

Many students look forward to Catholic Schools Week each year because it includes enjoyable events and special treats. But it's also a time for us to celebrate the enduring value of Catholic education and focus on the gift that it provides to America's young people. During Catholic Schools Week, we reach out to the community to build awareness of what our school offers. And we thank all those who work hard every day to make our school excellent: students, families, faculty, staff, volunteers, community supporters, and local and national leaders.
One of the most important roles of families is preparing young people for fulfilling lives of love and service to their families, their communities and the Lord. That is why the 2010 Catholic School's Week theme is particularly fitting. "Catholic Schools: Dividends for Life" underscores the long-standing tradition of Catholic education to instill in students the faith, knowledge, morals and discipline that will enable them to fulfill their future roles in life. Now more than ever, a Catholic education is truly an investment in the future that is worth the consideration of every family.
If you are considering Catholic education for your children, please visit our school! You are welcome any time, but we would especially invite you to join us at Open House during Catholic Schools Week, visit our Science Fair in April, or attend the Fine Arts Showcase in May. I think you will be impressed by the attitude, behavior and accomplishments of the students you observe.
If you are a current family, encourage your friends and neighbors to visit our school, especially during Catholic Schools Week. Help us show off your remarkable children! And please also join me in saying thank you to our teachers, staff, administrators, Advisory Commission members, Parent Club, volunteers and everyone else involved in running Sacred Heart School. Through their dedication and commitment, they make our school an excellent example of how Catholic schools provide "dividends for life."
